Sr. iOS Engineer

This position is ideal for experienced mobile engineers specializing in iOS development to join the ATD DE team as a Sr. iOS Engineer. You will play a key role in stabilizing existing features and introducing new functionality to our orthodontist-focused mobile applications used by thousands of professionals worldwide. Collaborating with design, clinical, and QA teams, you will help shape the user experience and technical architecture of customer-facing mobile solutions that support Invisalign® treatment planning and patient care. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile software that aligns with Align's commitment to innovation and excellence in digital orthodontics., * Design and develop scalable, accessible, and high-performance mobile applications for iOS.

• Contribute to application architecture design and implementation using modern iOS frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with the SQA team to ensure the delivery of reliable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested applications.
• Develop modular frameworks and reusable components to streamline development across multiple mobile products.
• Ensure compliance with Apple design principles, interface guidelines, and accessibility standards.
• Demonstrate and present technical solutions to clinical, product, and marketing teams.

Do you have experience in iOS development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on iOS applications.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI 2, and Swift 6.
• Proficiency in iOS frameworks and tools, including XCTest and XCUITest for test automation.
• Solid understanding of Apple design principles, Structured concurrency, UI/UX standards, and mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
• Communication: Upper-intermediate English; capable of explaining complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; familiarity with JIRA and version control systems.

Nice to have

• Experience building modular iOS frameworks and libraries for use across multiple applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment through App Store Connect or other channels.
• Experience with Objective-C, C++ interop, Combine is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to performance, accessibility, and usability.
