Sr. Android Engineer

This position is ideal for experienced Android developers with deep technical expertise in Kotlin, CameraX, and real-time video processing to join the ATD DE team as a Sr. Software Engineer. In this role, you will lead the architecture and development of Android SDKs, enabling real-time face tracking, intelligent guidance, and high-quality video capture for dental applications. Collaborating closely with ML, iOS, and QA automation teams, you will shape the future of dental technology through mobile innovation., * Implement real-time face tracking with Google MediaPipe and optimize CameraX/Camera2 video pipeline.

• Integrate C++/JNI modules for performance-critical video processing.
• Develop Jetpack Compose UI components and algorithms for smile, lighting, and pose detection.
• Design a clean SDK API aligned with existing backend and analytics systems.
• Apply Clean Architecture (MVVM, Coroutines, Flows) and Hilt/Dagger for modularity.
• Enable multi-region support, telemetry, and real-time quality tracking.
• Write and maintain automated tests (JUnit5, Kotest, MockK, Espresso).

Do you have experience in iOS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 8+ years in Android development with strong exposure to video processing, computer vision, or SDK architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin (Coroutines, Flows, DSLs).
• Expert knowledge of CameraX/Camera2 APIs, MediaCodec, and MediaMuxer.
• Experience building SDKs/libraries for modular or enterprise apps.
• Practical experience with Google MediaPipe for face tracking and pose detection.
• Hands-on knowledge of Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating C++ via JNI/NDK.
