A PayTech company operating a high-performance payment processing platform and currently seeking a CTO. By merging deep fintech expertise with a strong understanding of merchant needs, we create forward-thinking solutions that enable businesses to enter and grow in new markets. Slack, Jira, Confluence, OpenVPN Responsibilities
Define and execute the company's technology vision aligned with business objectives.
Lead and expand the engineering function : recruitment, mentoring, and process building.
Guarantee platform scalability, resilience, and security.
Introduce architectural improvements and drive technical innovation.
Partner with product and commercial teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Mitigate risks associated with high-load systems and high-risk fintech environments.
Supervise software quality, CI / CD flows, monitoring systems, and incident response.
Requirements
7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role (CTO / Head of Engineering / Tech Director).
Background in fintech or high-risk verticals.
Strong track record in designing and scaling high-load platforms.
Hands-on experience with PHP, Docker / Kubernetes, and AWS.
Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, caching, and messaging systems (MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ).
Experience managing CI / CD pipelines.
Strategic decision-making skills balancing technical and business needs.
Excellent leadership and people management abilities with a focus on culture.
English : Upper-Intermediate or above.
