Power BI Consultant

How will you help power the Netherlands? As a Senior Power BI Consultant, you will work on the implementation and rollout of the Commercial Assurance Framework (CAF) across the 2GW projects.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing Power BI dashboards to support effective project information management;
• Supporting the application of the CAF, focusing on data management, Power BI tooling and planning support during the setup and rollout of version 1.0 (Maasvlakte/portfolio) and version 2.0 (entire 2GW cluster);
• Aligning and reviewing system components within the selected data model, such as SharePoint (document management), Primavera P6, Relatics and Think Project!;
• Ensuring a proper handover to the internal team, including knowledge transfer and continuity assurance;
• You will work closely with departments such as project management, IT, procurement and finance, and liaise regularly with both internal and external stakeholders.

• 15-20 years of experience in a business-oriented financial or project control role;

• Proven expertise in Power BI and experience building professional-grade dashboards;

• A completed academic degree (WO-level) in Business Economics, Business Administration, IT or Engineering;

• Strong experience in project control and project management in complex technical environments;

• Excellent analytical skills: able to distil complex matters into clear and actionable insights;

• Strong communication skills: able to engage effectively with various stakeholders;

• Proactive and independent: a self-starter with a hands-on and solution-driven mentality;

• Seniority and experience in leading or guiding teams;

• A natural bridge-builder who can handle (sometimes conflicting) interests with diplomacy;

• Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong articulation and presentation skills.

• Focus will be on developing a PowerBI dashboard (data flow, also in other applications). Consider different file formats, for example also complex data from Primavera. Thereby all the data in PowerBI also have to be linked to other systems.
