As a Senior BPA Developer, you will play a key role in shaping, leading, and evolving BPA initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for identifying complex business process improvement opportunities, designing robust automation architectures, and delivering scalable, sustainable, and high-impact automation solutions.

This role places a strong emphasis on deep business process understanding, technical leadership, and end-to-end ownership of automation initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating operational and strategic needs into effective automation solutions, while leveraging modern development practices and AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and performance.

You will work closely with business leaders, Solution Architects, senior IT stakeholders, and development teams to ensure solutions are aligned with operational objectives, governance standards, and company strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the analysis of complex business processes to identify high-value automation opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced BPA/RPA solutions using Python or similar programming languages, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Act as a technical reference and mentor for junior and mid-level BPA developers, promoting best practices and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and resilient automation solutions.
  • Own the full automation lifecycle, from concept and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
  • Oversee and support the day-to-day operation of automations, proactively identifying risks, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring stability and performance.
  • Lead and support testing activities, including internal testing, end-to-end testing, and UAT, ensuring solutions meet business and technical expectations.
  • Create, maintain, and review high-quality technical and process documentation.
  • Monitor automation performance, define KPIs, and report on the effectiveness, value, and ROI of automation initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate, adopt, and promote new automation technologies, frameworks, and AI capabilities to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development and automation, with strong hands-on expertise in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering BPA/RPA solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and operational workflows.
  • Experience working with finance, supply chain, or other operational domains is a strong plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to influence, advise, and collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders at different seniority levels.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP (SAP R/3, Business Warehouse) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with RPA/BPA platforms and automation tools is required.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern development practices is highly valued.
