Network Engineer

• Design, operate, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures (routing & switching, TCP/IP, BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, NAT, LACP)
• Work with multicast networks, including PIM and IGMP
• Configure and manage firewalls, network firewall policies, and IPsec VPNs
• Perform hands-on work with physical infrastructure, including installations, cabling, and fiber optics
• Support enterprise wired and wireless office infrastructure
• Monitor network quality, availability, and performance (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana)
• Ensure network security, identify areas for improvement, and keep systems up to date
• Provide technical support and assistance to internal users (Level 2/3 support) and participate in on-call duties
• Collaborate with an international team and participate in on-site sessions in our Amsterdam office when required

• Significant professional experience as a network engineer
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
• Experience working with multi-vendor equipment (Arista, Cisco, HPE Comware, Fortinet)
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible) and Linux environments (beneficial)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and maintain professionalism
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Flexible availability
• Willingness to perform hands-on support in Amsterdam when required
