Senior Solution Designer (80-100%)

We are looking for a Senior Solution Designer to join the FATE Engineering team in Zurich. You translate business and technical requirements into clear solution designs aligned with a shared enterprise application framework. You collaborate closely with an Application Architect, Developers, Testers and Cloud Engineers, contributing to solutions built with reliability and shared ownership in mind., * Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

• Define functional and non-functional aspects including security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and cloud engineers to ensure feasible solutions.
• Document solution designs and support teams during implementation, delivery, and change initiatives.

• 5+ years in solution design or enterprise software development required.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular needed.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset essential., * 5+ years of experience in solution design, requirements engineering, or enterprise software development.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular in complex, distributed application landscapes.
• Proven experience designing solutions based on reusable frameworks or shared technical platforms.
• Solid knowledge of system integration, API design, and common enterprise application patterns.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German and/or Spanish are a plus.
