Job description
As Data Engineer at INFINIT, you'll build and maintain the market intelligence platform that fuels the solution we're building for independent car dealers across Europe. Our DMS (Dealer Management System) combines AI-powered inventory management, lead qualification, customer checkout, and integrated financing - all powered by comprehensive market data that helps dealers price competitively, identify sourcing opportunities, and understand their local markets. The same market intelligence also plays a key role for our Sales team, enabling them to segment prospects, prioritize high-potential leads, and tailor their outreach based on real-time market dynamics., * Automated data collection systems that aggregate automotive market data across major European markets.
- Data normalization layers that turn fragmented market information into clean, unified datasets
- ETL pipelines that transform raw market signals into pricing intelligence and structured, actionable insights
- APIs and data distribution mechanisms to expose insights to various teams across the organization (integrations with Hubspot, INFINIT Platform, AI Agents, flat exports, internal dashboards…)
- Real-time monitoring and quality assurance systems to ensure data reliability
- Scalable infrastructure designed to grow 10x as we expand across Europe and beyond
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Strong experience building production-grade data acquisition systems in Python
- Expertise with modern web data extraction tools (Scrapy, Playwright, Selenium) and proxy management
- Deep understanding of HTML/CSS/JS parsing and handling dynamic web content
- Solid data engineering foundations: SQL, ETL design, cloud orchestrationTrack record of normalizing messy, real-world data (incomplete records, conflicting sources, inconsistent formats)
- Curious and experimental mindset-you're not just moving data around, you're discovering what insights actually drive decisions
- Pragmatic problem-solver who thrives on building systems that "just work"
- Collaborative approach as you'll work closely with product, sales, and operations teams to understand their needs and iterate on solutions
