- Lead or contribute to design reviews with a focus on vulnerable customer needs.
- Prototype ideas to explore and refine user experiences.
- Run usability testing and share insights with delivery teams.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile, cross-functional team to iterate and deliver designs.
- Partner with Marketing to ensure designs are on-brand and easy to understand.
- Collaborate with Product, IT and Risk/Compliance to deliver safe, compliant experiences.
- Create supporting content such as help guides and tutorials.
- Provide accessibility guidance and champion inclusive design decisions.
Requirements
- Experience designing digital products or services as a UX Designer.
- Strong understanding of inclusive design and accessibility principles.
- Practical experience designing to WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to clearly explain design decisions to stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience in regulated sectors (financial services, healthcare, government, etc.).
- Experience designing for vulnerable customers or people with additional needs.
- Familiarity with FCA Consumer Duty, vulnerability guidance or inclusive communication.
- Experience with accessible design systems.
- Knowledge of accessible document standards (e.g., accessible PDFs).
