What you'll be doing
As our Applications Analyst, you'll play a key role in keeping our core business applications running smoothly and helping us introduce new ones as we deliver our multi-year Technology Roadmap.
You'll be trusted to:
Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and performance of key NCHA applications and systems.
Configure and tune applications to ensure databases, servers and internet services run efficiently.
Assist with implementing new applications and contribute to the selection and configuration of end-user hardware and software.
Monitor applications to ensure accurate data capture and compliance with Technology Services policies.
Log, investigate and resolve incidents and requests, liaising with external suppliers where needed.
Requirements
Experience in an IT support environment or supporting a core line-of-business application.
Strong IT skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Clear, confident communication with colleagues at all levels.
Good attention to detail and familiarity with call-logging systems.
A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP/network principles or Citrix is helpful, but not essential.
Working hours
This is a full time Monday to Friday role, with flexibility to work from our head office and from home. Occasional out-of-hours work to support system changes or project activity will be needed.
