Job description
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Change Manager to work for our client within the Insurance sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in London., Our client is seeking a Change Manager to lead the governance, coordination, and continuous improvement of technology change across their organisation. This is a strategic and hands-on opportunity to shape and own the Change Management framework, ensuring that all IT changes are delivered in a controlled, transparent and low-risk manner. Working cross-functionally with Architecture, Product, Engineering, QA, Operations and Service Delivery, you'll chair the CAB, assess change impact and readiness, manage scheduling, and drive alignment with ITIL 4, ISO27001 and DORA operational resilience standards. This role offers the chance to influence senior stakeholders, enhance enterprise-wide processes, and play a key part in safeguarding the stability and quality of live services., * Own and maintain the organisation's Change Management policy, processes, procedures, and standards.
- Chair and coordinate CAB, evaluating Requests for Change (RFCs), assessing risks, readiness, impact and ensuring all changes follow controlled governance.
- Coordinate scheduling and execution of all technology changes across Architecture, Product, Engineering, QA, EUC and Operations, ensuring low-risk and transparent delivery.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews, driving lessons learned, identifying failed changes, and supporting continuous improvement of change processes.
- Own and manage ServiceNow change workflows, ensuring accurate documentation, audit evidence, SLA/KPI reporting and ongoing process optimisation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in ServiceNow?, * Strong knowledge of ITIL 4 Change Enablement, with hands-on experience running structured change governance and CAB forums.
- Skilled in using ServiceNow (Change, Configuration, and Release modules), with the ability to manage workflows, audit trails, and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams and senior stakeholders, providing clear guidance and decision support.
- Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented, with experience conducting risk assessments, impact analysis, and readiness reviews.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Change Management or Service Delivery roles within complex technology environments (preferably regulated or ISO27001-aligned).
