Job description

  • Build end-to-end pipelines to deploy AI models into production, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Design and prototype robust machine learning models and statistical algorithms to address key business challenges.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions and share insights through compelling storytelling.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Product Managers and ML Engineers, to align AI solutions with business needs.
  • Develop modular and reproducible code with production-grade quality, focusing on MLOps best practices.
  • Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation, governance, and transparency.
  • Champion advancements in GenAI to drive innovation in journalism and advertising.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as a data scientist, ideally within a B2C digital product environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with Machine Learning, GenAI, and experiment design to solve complex problems.
  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong Python programming skills used to create production-grade code and modular solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL for efficiently querying large, complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native patterns, specifically within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Clear communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable business needs for Product Managers and business owners.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively within interdisciplinary squads using Agile and Lean principles.
