Director of Digital, Data and Technology

Do you have experience in Disaster recovery?, You'll be an experienced digital leader with a track record of enterprise-scale transformation in complex organisations. You'll combine expertise in cyber security, resilience and disaster recovery with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear strategy for senior stakeholders.

You'll have experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering an inclusive culture, alongside strong skills in supplier and contract management. You'll understand data governance, analytics and automation, and you'll be alert to sector trends and networks such as LOTI and SOCITM. Above all, you'll balance risk and value, align investment to organisational priorities and champion user-centred design and evidence-based improvement.

The London Borough of Newham is located only 5 miles east of London. It is well positioned with access to all major networks in London and the south east. It is well connected by public transport with, bus, tube and DLR. When the Crossrail service opens it will call at Custom House close to our council offices and also Stratford station and from there to central London.
