Job description

A Data Engineer will bring structure to our raw data utilising best ETL practices, resulting in clear and concise analytics and reports for internal and customer use which support the day to day and long-term strategy of our business., * Build and Manage Data Pipelines (Azure Data Factory)

  • Build and managed data pipelines to transfer data from various sources to storage (API Connections)
  • Manage Data Storage (SQL Warehouse)
  • Manage reporting databases for efficient storage
  • Clean and transform raw data into usable formats for analytics and business intelligence
  • Create and Manage Semantic Models (Power BI)
  • Maintain and develop semantic models for analysis and report building
  • Create Reports (Power BI/Power BI Report Builder)
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reporting solutions
  • General management, security, performance monitoring and optimisation
  • Maintain documentation of processes

Requirements

Do you have experience in Data analytics?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Excellent knowledge of SQL

  • Significant experience using Azure Data Factory & Data Pipelines
  • Experience in interfacing with APIs
  • Experience of data modelling in Microsoft Power BI
  • Building and publishing Microsoft Power BI Reports including RLS and Embedding
  • Designing and publishing paginated reports using Microsoft Power BI Report Builder
  • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods
  • Advanced analytical knowledge of data

Desirable

  • CI/CD Experience
  • Python Experience
  • Telecoms Industry background
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, * Bachelor's (preferred), * Data analytics: 2 years (preferred)
