Job description

The Manufacturing Test Engineer creates value by being a valuable partner to internal and external Supply Chain stakeholders, supporting production of PCBA and elevator components too, and in the introduction of new products. He/she is responsible to develop and implement testing procedures and testing infrastructure for all kind of PCBA and Elevator components produced in the Supply Chain facilities to achieve Schindler Quality Standards.

  • Develop Test procedure and Test Infrastructure based on products specifications and test procedure.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of all testing equipment for production of Supply Chain, to cope with Schindler targets for both Quality and Productivity.
  • Work with new technologies implementation (like automation, Cobot/Robot, machine vision, AI, ecc…) to maximize the automation on the production area.
  • Ensure the support to the production with problems solving analysis and support from technical point of view.
  • Being the team a global center of expertise, support other zones with new test equipment and maintenance of existing ones, participating in high added value projects, new developments, update of processes, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronic Engineering
  • At least 5 years experience in industrial company with technical (electronic) tasks
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Fluent in Italian and English. German is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of PCBA testing procedure (ICT + FCT), testing SW and code development (e.g. National Instrument Tools)
  • Good Knowledge in Software programming procedure.
