IT Project Manager

Centaura Group has been engaged to support this transformation and is now seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead key technology initiatives on behalf of the client.

This is not a coordination or reporting role. It is a delivery-focused role with real responsibility, visibility, and impact.

About the role

You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering IT and digital projects that directly improve how the business operates.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams, and external suppliers, you will ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and adopted effectively across the organisation.

You'll operate in a real-world environment - where priorities evolve, operations matter, and outcomes count., * Own end-to-end delivery of IT and technology-enabled projects

• Define project scope, objectives, success measures, and timelines
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and risk registers
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and third-party partners
• Act as a bridge between operational stakeholders and technical delivery
• Track progress, manage dependencies, and mitigate delivery risks
• Ensure alignment with governance, security, and operational standards
• Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders on status, risks, and decisions
• Support change management and user adoption post-implementation
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve delivery capability

Do you have experience in Waterfall?, You are pragmatic, structured, and commercially aware.

You understand that successful delivery is about clarity, ownership, and follow-through.

Essential experience

• Proven experience delivering IT or technology-led projects
• Strong understanding of project delivery approaches (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and external suppliers
• Confidence operating in fast-moving, operational environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Desirable experience

• Experience in asset-heavy, operational, or multi-site businesses
• Exposure to ERP, systems integration, or data-driven initiatives
• Familiarity with IT governance, security, or service management
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification
