Technical Architect

• Investigate and validate migration and modernisation options for the legacy enterprise integration platform.
• Design integration solutions to transition from Oracle WebLogic Java Integration architecture to a modern AWS-hosted solution.
• Conduct PoCs and technical investigations as part of the discovery phase.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure alignment on project goals and strategies.
• Implement cloud security and resilience measures in the architecture.

This role requires immediate availability for an initial 6-week discovery phase, which may extend if successful. Working outside IR35, you will leverage your expertise in integration architecture and cloud solutions to facilitate a transition to a modern AWS-hosted environment. • Proven experience as a Lead Technical Architect, ideally in Central government.
• Strong background in integration architecture and platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing integration solutions in cloud environments, ideally in AWS.
• Experience delivering PoCs, technical investigations, or discovery phases.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience, and modernisation strategies.
• Cost & Risk analysis using trade-off matrices to make justified decisions.
