Lead Network Engineer

Job Advert: Network Delivery Manager Location: Wokingham (Hybrid - 50/50) Clearance: SC Cleared or Eligible Contract: 6 months Rate: £515 per day

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Network Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex network infrastructure projects across a diverse technology landscape. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, and ensures seamless execution from planning through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of network projects covering LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, network security, and cloud connectivity. Translate business needs into practical delivery plans, ensuring alignment with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Oversee deployments for network upgrades, migrations, and multi-site expansions. Collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, operations, and third-party vendors to maintain seamless execution and service quality.

Technical Skills & Experience

Strong background in Routing & Switching technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper). Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions. Solid understanding of firewalls and network security principles. Experience managing wireless network delivery projects. Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, etc.).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven track record delivering complex network transformation projects. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work across multiple teams and manage third-party supplier relationships. Holds or can obtain SC Clearance.
