Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager with a strong focus on video content creation. This is not a template-driven role. You will be expected to design, edit, and publish original content using professional tools, not drag-and-drop platforms.
This role suits someone who can move comfortably between static design, short-form video, and social media strategy, and who understands that performance matters more than aesthetics alone.
What You'll Be Doing
Design & Video Production
- Create original design assets for internal and external use, including presentations, banners, booklets, posters, and social media content.
- Produce short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X, including editing, basic motion graphics, captions, and format optimisation.
- Work daily in Adobe Creative Suite. This role requires confident use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow our social media channels with a video-first mindset.
- Plan, create, publish, and iterate content based on performance, not guesswork.
- Track engagement, reach, and conversions using analytics tools and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Stay on top of trends while keeping content on-brand and purposeful.
Web & Digital
- Update and manage website content using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Build and edit basic HTML/CSS pages when required.
- Support digital campaigns and paid social activity.
What We Expect
- Professional-level experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, Do you have a GCSE?, This role is not suitable for Canva-only designers.
- Demonstrable experience creating social-first video content, not just static graphics.
- Experience producing reels, event edits, and short-form promotional videos.
- Solid HTML/CSS knowledge and experience working with WordPress or similar platforms.
- Strong design judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to work without constant supervision.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to take ownership of projects.
Desirable
- Knowledge of SEO, social algorithms, and digital marketing best practice.
- Interest in nightlife, events, or entertainment-led environments.
- Evidence of growing or improving social media performance through analytics., * GCSE or equivalent (preferred), * Video content creation: 1 year (required)
