Job description
Would you like to work as a game designer on a live Warhammer 40,000 game, shaping systems, features, and events that reach players every week?
As a Game Designer at Snowprint, you'll work on Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, contributing directly to how the game evolves over time. You'll design systems, events, and features that go live quickly, and you'll follow your work all the way from idea to release.
At Snowprint Studios, we believe that kindness, collaboration, and self-leadership are what make great games possible. Here, your work goes straight into players' hands. You'll see the results of your decisions quickly, learn from real player feedback, and work closely with an experienced team on a high-quality live game.
What you'll be doing
You'll design and own a set of live operations areas in Tacticus, ranging from recurring events to new or updated event formats. This includes shaping how these experiences work, how they are balanced, and how they evolve over time.
You'll also contribute to feature design and feature improvements, working in design decks, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and developers, and ensuring that ideas turn into clear, playable experiences. Hands-on balancing and configuration work in spreadsheets and Unity is an important part of the role.
Because Tacticus is a live game, you'll work in a tight feedback loop. You'll test content hands-on, see how it lands with players, and iterate based on both qualitative feedback and live data. Collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unity?, You have worked with live games, feature development, or live operations in some form. Experience from mobile, free-to-play, or strategy games is highly relevant, and an interest in turn-based or tactical games is a strong plus.
You're comfortable working hands-on in a game engine, and experience with Unity is particularly valuable. You understand systems, balance, and the trade-offs involved in designing for live games, and you have experience using configuration tools such as Google Sheets.
You enjoy taking responsibility for your work, communicating clearly, and collaborating closely with others to deliver player-facing content. You are curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by making thoughtful design decisions that hold up over time., We are an international company with many nationalities working here. Our company language is English and therefore your application should be in English.
