Job description
At TechDelivery, we are partnering with a global tech-driven company to hire a Senior Data Architect who will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and scaling modern data platforms and pipelines. This position is ideal for a data architecture expert with deep cloud knowledge and strong business alignment. You'll work closely with international stakeholders to define and implement robust data strategies that drive innovation and decision-making., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the creation and documentation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytical and operational needs.
- Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Oversee the integration of diverse data sources, including cloud services, on-premises systems, APIs, and event streams.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, Machine Learning, Product, and Security teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Evaluate, select, and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the data platform and infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Ensure documentation and communication of architecture decisions and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize data platform performance, scalability, and reliability to support business growth.
- Participate actively in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives related to data strategy and infrastructure.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- 3+ years designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven track record in building and optimizing data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses in production.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, or similar.
- Solid background in SQL and Python for data transformation, modeling, and automation.
- Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data governance frameworks, including MDM, data quality, lineage, and cataloging.
- Demonstrated ability to lead architecture decisions, engage with business stakeholders, and mentor technical teams.
- Comfortable working in distributed, cross-functional teams, communicating in English (C1+) in international settings.
