Job description
Manage Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure network operations.
Configure and maintain LAN switches & WiFi environment for optimal connectivity and performance.
Configure and manage AWS cloud instances.
Provide proactive support and troubleshooting for network and security infrastructure.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational and compliance requirements.
Produce technical documentation, configurations, and operational guides as needed.
Ensure best practices in IT security and adherence to organisational policies., * Primary mode: Remote, with the ability to attend on-site at Tata Communications customer offices or data centers in Madrid as needed.
- Availability to work outside regular business hours or on weekends when required by Tata Communications Customer.
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule, one week per month (covering shifts outside regular business hours, including nights, weekends and bank holidays).
Tata Communications Customer will solely be responsible for providing supplies like laptop, phone, software/software packages and other supplies in order for the identified resources carry out their duties.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Proven hands-on experience with network setup.
Strong background in enterprise networking, including LAN, WiFi, Routing, VLAN Management, networking cabling technologies ( UTP and fiber optic), IP address management, routing and BGP.
Working experience with Cisco networking solutions.
Solid experience with AWS networking, including setting up VPC, security groups platforms and related cloud network components.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, and general network security administration.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish & English (spoken and written) for resource in Spain.
Ability to work independently onsite while liaising effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
