Job description
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices across multidisciplinary R&D programs. Develop high-fidelity SysML models by translating user needs, system requirements, and regulatory standards into robust, traceable system designs. Serve as a technical authority in systems engineering, solving complex architectural challenges and guiding teams through design, verification, and validation. Define and deploy MBSE standards, methods, and tool customizations to enhance modeling efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Create and maintain metamodels, datamodels, and custom modeling frameworks using advanced tool capabilities (e.g., profiles, scripts, validation rules, plugins). Conduct rigorous reviews of system artifacts to ensure compliance with engineering principles, safety standards, and industry regulations. Empower teams through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing-helping to build MBSE capability across global engineering functions. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, from architects to software and hardware engineers, across the full product lifecycle-from concept to decommissioning., At Amaris, we strive to provide our candidates with the best possible recruitment experience. We like to get to know our candidates, challenge them, and be able to give them proper feedback as quickly as possible. Here's what our recruitment process looks like:
Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience. We look forward to meeting you!
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We're looking for a technically strong and collaborative engineer with a proven track record in systems engineering and MBSE. If this sounds like you, you'll thrive here:

Deep expertise in Requirements Engineering, Risk Management, Verification & Validation (V&V), and system design. Hands-on experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or similar-including customization (e.g., scripting, structured expressions, profiles, custom diagrams, validation rules, or plugin development). Strong proficiency in SysML, with practical experience in modeling structure, behavior, requirements, and parametric diagrams. Ability to define and implement metamodels and datamodels to support scalable system architectures. Excellent communication skills-able to engage with both technical teams and senior stakeholders, adapting your message across levels. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus. A hands-on mindset, combined with strategic thinking and a passion for engineering excellence.
