Infrastructure and Security Engineer

• In this role, you will provide high-level infrastructure support while monitoring and securing the business against cyber threats. You will work closely with the Head of IT to monitor endpoints, patch devices, and develop security resilience, building upon the foundational work previously undertaken. The tools you will use include Huntress, Defender, Intune, Barracuda, TeamViewer, Siris Datto, Office 365, and VPNs.

• We are looking for someone who has progressed through the ranks in support, deployed a range of infrastructure, and possesses either a strong affinity for security or has recently specialized in this area. Experience with Cyber Essentials (or Cyber Essentials Plus) or ISO 27001 is desirable. You should be comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders to assess security risks and communicate security policies. Familiarity with a diverse environment across SME or mid-market sizes, supporting approximately 500 users and up to 1000 endpoints, is also important.
