Infrastructure Engineer

• In this role, I expect you to:
• Maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, including VMware ESXi, Microsoft Windows Server environments, and network components, while offering minimal support for AWS/Linux server infrastructure.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and automation.
• Maintain and improve local network environments, including Dell servers and Dell switch configurations.
• Exhibit strong technical expertise in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and authentication solutions.
• Plan for scalability, redundancy, and high availability to support future growth.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards and implement best security practices across all environments.
• Implement, manage, and learn about Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud and on-premises setups.
• Develop and manage automation solutions using tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform, while learning to configure and maintain authentication solutions.

• We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who has a strong background in Wintel and IT Infrastructure. An understanding of substantial IT projects and a willingness to learn is crucial, as you will be involved in automating our IT Infrastructure deployments. Experience related to Datacentre relocation or migration is advantageous but not mandatory. A familiarity with security and regulatory standards, including PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials+, DORA, and ISO 27001, would also be beneficial.
