Job description

  • In this role, I will be analyzing large complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that will aid in making informed technical decisions. I will support data quality initiatives by identifying gaps and opportunities for improvements in the data, ensuring that no data is lost or duplicated. My first assignment will involve working on a project anticipated to run until 2028, focused on modernizing Local Authority Land Charge Registers across England and Wales. I will assist numerous assigned Local Authorities by working with their source data, translating it into a common and defined schema, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of multiple datasets throughout the process.

Requirements

  • We are searching for candidates who possess strong Excel skills, as these will be tested early in the interview process. You must have excellent attention to detail and be a good communicator, as you will be working closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Project Managers, and internal/external stakeholders. A background in data manipulation is essential, and expertise as a Data Analyst or GIS Analyst is preferred. Knowledge of Geospatial Data/GIS is important, and any experience with SQL, FME, or QGIS (or similar tools) is a distinct advantage. Additionally, you must have the Right to Work in the UK without Company Sponsorship.
