I expect you to assess and reorganize existing infrastructure to maximize space utilization within the data center. Additionally, you will update and maintain accurate records of all data center assets, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected in documentation, such as floor plans and asset management systems. You will also assist in maintaining documentation standards, monitor power, cooling, and space utilization, and collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to plan for future capacity requirements. Your commitment to adhering to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is essential.

Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed, along with frequent walking and standing in a data center environment. Most work will be based in the data center, with some office tasks and possibly after-hours or weekend responsibilities to address urgent issues.

  • We seek candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, particularly in equipment decommissioning, space optimization, and infrastructure documentation. Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and asset management software is essential.
