Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using React, .NET Core, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, secure builds, and reliable deployments
  • Apply infrastructure-as-code practices and DevOps tooling to improve automation and consistency across environments
  • Work with the team to establish and follow best practices in software engineering, cloud security, and observability

Requirements

  • Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development
  • Frontend expertise with React (TypeScript preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps (pipelines, builds, releases)
  • Understanding of site reliability engineering principles, including monitoring, logging, and incident response
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge of agile practices (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Exposure to infrastructure as code (ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar) (desirable)
  • Experience with GraphQL (consuming or building APIs) (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or similar observability tools (desirable)
  • Good understanding of cyber security (desirable)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our agile software team focused on building innovative, life-critical SaaS solutions for a global security company. Located in Poole, Dorset, with a hybrid work model allowing 1 to 2 days per week in the office, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000. In this role, you will be integral to all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and take ownership of Azure DevOps pipelines and site reliability engineering practices.
