Job description
We are seeking a Game Analyst to drive actionable insights across a growing portfolio of mobile games. Reporting into senior data leadership, you'll take ownership of key performance metrics, support live operations, guide experimentation, and help shape product and growth strategy through rigorous analysis. This role is ideal for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys seeing data-driven insights influence real-time decision-making. You'll work closely with Product, Growth, UA, and Community teams, acting as the analytical backbone that connects player behaviour with business impact., * Own and analyse core mobile game KPIs, including retention, monetisation, engagement, and player sentiment
- Design, run, and evaluate experiments across features, live ops, content updates, and monetisation initiatives
- Build dashboards, forecasts, and models to support performance tracking and opportunity sizing
- Partner with Product and User Acquisition teams to optimise funnels, segment users, and test offers, bundles, and notifications
- Support prototyping and greenlight decisions through structured testing and validation
- Improve analytics infrastructure, including event tracking schemas, tooling, and data quality
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform product and content decisions
- Translate complex datasets into clear, high-impact insights for stakeholders across the business
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience analysing games or applications and delivering actionable insights
- Experience across the full development lifecycle, from prototype to global launch
- Strong working knowledge of Firebase, attribution fundamentals, and marketing analytics tools such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or ironSource
Data Storytelling & Visualisation
- Proficient with tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
- Able to present insights clearly and persuasively, with recommendations grounded in data and free from common biases
Curiosity & Technical Confidence
- Comfortable working directly with raw data (tables, CSVs, JSON)
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming large datasets
- Experience implementing new data sources (e.g. REST APIs) into BigQuery or similar platforms
Growth-Focused Mindset
- Strong understanding of growth mechanics, including UA funnels, ASO, and live ops
- Experience with segmentation, push notification strategies, and content-driven engagement
- Comfortable applying a creative touch when needed, including basic image or video editing
Nice to Have
- Experience using Python or R for deeper analysis or automation
- Familiarity with BigQuery, event-based schemas, and Google Cloud tooling
- Experience with Firebase, Amplitude, or GA4
- Knowledge of content-led growth or player-driven curation
