Job description
According to Scrum methodology, the Agile Product Owner represents both stakeholders and the voice of the customers capturing their expectations, preferences and aversions. Along with the Scrum Master he/she leads and organises the Squad. The Agile Product Owner is in charge of expressing and prioritizing the needs of the product using a Product Backlog. For understanding the needs and prioritising the backlog based on value, the product owner is in regular contact with all stakeholders and is also explaining the prioritisation decisions to them. The Agile Product Owner has to ensure the Team's perfect understanding of the product and priorities and the whole consistency of each Sprint. The product owner motivates the squad, helps them to organise the work and facilitiates problem solving in the team.
- Project Management related toTransactions Occasionally the product owner will also take on the role of Opus Owner (cf project manager role) for Transactions related topics
Design phase and project methodology:
- build the product's big picture including its roadmap based on agile slicing, and translate this picture towards the development team
- clarify the need and lead the refinement as a basis for drafting the product's key functional specifications according to the agile methodology
- iteration planning and priorities definition to ensure the proper content delivery
- defines the priorities and monitor the Product Backlog, thus he continuously prioritizes the key business needs
- make sure that the different stakeholders become and stay aligned on the product to be delivered
Project follow-up and support:
- initiate a priority management approach, ensure the product consistency and quality
- actively participate into agile ceremonies (agile retrospectives, sprint review, sprint planning…)
- is the decision maker or has the authority to arbitrate on delivered functionalities
Requirements
Do you have experience in Product management?, At least 5 years of relevant experience
Technical Experience
Preferable
Functional understanding of Banking systems, ideally daily banking, both mainframe and distributed
