Job description
We're looking for a Graphic & Website Designer to join us on a maternity cover contract. You'll work closely with colleagues and school clients to design website layouts and visual styles that feel welcoming, clear, and consistent.
This is an office-based role to support collaboration, but for the right person we can be flexible about hours, including part-time or school-hours working.
What you'll be doing
- Designing website layouts and visual styles for schools and trusts
- Creating and adapting digital branding for web use
- Building homepage layouts, page templates, and visual components
- Working closely with developers to bring designs into live websites
- Talking through design ideas with school clients clearly and confidently
- Responding to feedback and refining designs accurately
- Supporting consistency across multi-school projects
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teaching?, * Confidence designing for web
- Comfortable speaking with clients and explaining design ideas
- Happy working as part of a close team
- Able to manage multiple projects at different stages
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Open to feedback and iteration
Experience in education or public sector work is helpful but not required.
