Job description

Jardox are currently recruiting a Technical Administrator to cover a year of maternity leave to support our Technical Services Team. Reporting to the Technical Services Coordinator, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, documentation, and compliance in a fast-paced food-industry environment.

At Jardox, we are the "Taste Behind the Brands." Based in Sevenoaks and Wincanton, we are a 'one stop shop' for all savoury ingredients. We specialise in stocks, gravies, curry pastes, marinades, glazes, sausage & burger seasonings and herb & spice based products., * Maintain and update specific product specifications, including ingredient declarations, allergen data, and nutritional information.

  • Complete and manage customer specification portals as specify. (Training will be provided)
  • Organise and maintain technical documentation, including customer approvals, specific dietary and allergen questionnaires.
  • Support the Technical Services Team with data entry, day to day queries and general administration duties.
  • Liaise with customers in a professional manner to deliver a great technical support customer service.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Experience in the food industry, ideally within Technical, QA, or NPD administration.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and document management systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Understanding of food safety, allergens, and basic regulatory requirements (Desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and a willingness to learn.

This role is full time, 8am - 5pm. Our team is free to leave at 4.30pm if everything is sorted. Induction for the first two weeks will be site based, but after that, we are happy to explore working from home, coming into the office perhaps once a month.

We close between Christmas and New Year and contribute to your pension at a rate of 5.5%. Holiday allowance is 25 days per year (plus bank holidays).
