Data Scientist

We are looking for someone who brings a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. You should have 1-5 years of experience in data modelling or applied analytics, ideally with demonstrated business impact. Strong skills in Python or R, SQL, and modern data science toolkits are essential. Proven experience in predictive modelling and translating data into business outcomes is required. We value a critical mindset and intellectual curiosity-someone who asks why" and what if." We're looking for strong communication skills to explain complex concepts in simple terms and business acumen with a keen understanding of commercial needs. A proactive approach is crucial; we want someone who takes initiative instead of waiting for direction. Fluency in English is necessary, and being currently based in the Netherlands with a valid work permit is a must. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus. Nice to have includes experience with cloud-based platforms like Databricks, skills in dashboarding and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and consulting or cross-functional experience (e.g., as a data analyst).

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and deploying predictive and statistical models with direct business application. You will identify opportunities for analytics and modelling across different business domains. Collaborating with colleagues will be essential to scope projects and maximize data-driven value. You will need to translate analytical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate model outcomes clearly and understandably to diverse audiences. We expect you to drive continuous learning by exploring and proposing innovative data solutions.
