Job description
The primary role would be to engage with clients, managing and contributing to the implementation of innovative Pillar 2 technology solutions, analysing and enhancing clients' tax data collection and management processes to meet new reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency., * Lead client design session supporting with the development of the operating models for Group Tax reporting and/or BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 requirements.
- Manage projects related to the implementation of tax technology solutions, ensuring alignments with the IFRS/USGAAP/OECD tax requirements.
- Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure ongoing compliance with BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 and other tax regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing high-quality consultancy and support on tax technology related matters.
- Drive the automation of tax processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors and ensure compliance with changing tax laws and standards.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, providing regular feedback and support to aid in their professional development.
Requirements
We are looking for strong candidates with experience of working within direct tax (in-house or professional services) and a keen interest in technology. Day to day responsibilities include, * Familiarity with international tax principles, OECD guidelines and experience with cross-border tax issues.
- An understanding of the interpretation and implementation of tax regulations, including the impact of BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 on client' business operations.
- Experience with third-party tax reporting solutions, such as Insightsoftware Longview Tax Provision and Thomson Reuters OneSource Tax Provision.
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream or similar and their tax/finance related modules.
- Experience working in a cross-functional teams, both with internal and external stakeholders, including international tax, finance, group tax reporting, IT and legal, to develop integrated tax technology solutions
- Understanding of the process's clients would typically follow for Direct Tax compliance processes, including tax provisioning.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate future tax and technology challenges including identifying ways to automate manual tasks using existing financial or tax systems and emerging technologies.
- Experience translating technical tax and technology information into user-friendly language for presentations, training material and business proposals.
- Skilled in storytelling and narrative development to engage audiences and convey complex tax and technology concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, project profitability and process configuration
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
- Strong coaching skills to help develop junior team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Improving reporting capabilities to enhance our clients' ability to evaluate risk and capitalise on opportunities
- Desire and demonstrated ability to provide leadership within a team
- 4+ years' experience working within Tax Technology, Tax compliance or a related advisory role. (either in-house or professional services)
- A thorough understanding of Direct Tax compliance processes (Group Tax Reporting, Tax Accounting preferable)
- Familiarity of IAS12/ASC 740 reporting standards and direct experience in the calculation of income taxes (current and deferred taxes)
- Experience with tax reporting technologies in the market (ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Longview Tax, etc.). Pillar 2 technologies (e.g. Orbitax etc.) is preferable.
- Exposure to accounting/finance/tax, tax or finance performance improvement, tax software development and/or implementation
- Experience in understanding the implications of recent regulatory changes such as BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2
- Experience with data analytic tools such as Alteryx, Power Query is preferable
Ideally, you'll also have
- Consulting background preferable but not required - used to interacting with clients and working on large-scale projects
- An Accounting or Tax Qualification is preferable but not required
