Job description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer (LISE) to join our team on a Permanent Contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a small specialist Infrastructure Engineering Team to ensure that all aspects of UK Service Operations Delivery is carried out safely and in accordance with all current CAA, MAA, MOD and Government legislative regulations to achieve the maximum equipment availability and avoidance of Service Penalties

Your core responsibilities will include:

· Manage and control approved infrastructure service providers performing maintenance on behalf of Aquila.

· Develop and maintain Aquila's Maintenance and Support Policy Statements for infrastructure support.

· Ensure configuration and site documentation records for Infrastructure, Power, Networks, and Communications are accurate and up to date.

· Undertake on-call duties to maintain availability of technical services on a rostered basis.

· Comply with all Health & Safety, Risk, Quality, and Environmental Protection processes. Ensure all approved and authorised change activities are safely managed and implemented.

· Promote Aquila's Just Culture, reporting incidents, safety non-compliance or potential issues appropriately.

· Maintain compliance with AAOS certification and BS EN ISO accreditation.

· Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to guide investigations into equipment failures and recovery.

· Consistently demonstrate behaviours aligned with Aquila's core values and leadership behaviours in all actions and decisions.

About You

The Aquila Lead Infrastructure Support Engineer (LISE) will act as a specialist for all infrastructure tasks applicable to the Aquila Air Traffic Management Equipment, in accordance with site requirements as defined by the Marshall contract and in conjunction with any specific requests from the Duty Holder.

Requirements

· Infrastructure / Facilities Management / Electrical qualification to HNC/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.

· A demonstrated track record of delivering infrastructure projects and leading preventative and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring system availability and regulatory compliance.

· A working knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations and associated installation techniques.

· Proven experience applying safe systems of work- including electrical safety and working at height- to ensure full compliance with MOD regulations

· Expertise in maintenance planning and coordination within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.

· Commercial awareness to understand the impact of facility failures on customers and internal dependencies.

· Ability to work independently and make sound judgments to maintain operational services.

· Knowledge of maintenance requirements on multiple infrastructure assets including structures, HVAC systems, LPS & electrical testing (desirable
