Job description

A Senior Product Owner to lead the design, shaping and execution of an exciting strategy to re-imagine some of our journeys to support customers in financial difficulty., We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the design, shaping, and execution of an ambitious strategy to re-imagine customer journeys for those facing financial difficulty. This is a unique opportunity to harness the power of Generative AI to predict, prevent, and support customers during challenging times-while driving efficiency across LBG.

You'll work closely with product, engineering, and design colleagues to deliver transformative experiences. Success will require deep customer understanding, strong collaboration across networks, and a relentless focus on outcomes that improve lives. What you'll be doing

  • Own and deliver a strategic product theme focused on re-imagining journeys using Generative AI.
  • Shape and communicate product vision and strategy, collaborating with platform and non-platform teams.
  • Lead the product roadmap: define and prioritise epics, features, and stories aligned to strategy.
  • Champion innovation and storytelling, advocating for a transformed vision with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate deeply with engineers, designers, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Ensure compliance and governance across all product changes.

Requirements

  • Product Ownership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing backlogs, and delivering impactful product changes.
  • Generative AI Expertise: Familiarity with generative or agentic AI technologies and their application in customer journeys.
  • Data & Analytics: Ability to interpret complex data sets to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Agile Delivery: Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to shape product vision and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to translate insights into solutions.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Skilled in crafting compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Design Thinking: Experience applying design methodologies to solve complex problems.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable collaborating with engineering and data teams on technical aspects.
