Job description
We are seeking a highly analytical, data-driven Operations Analyst to support and enhance the effectiveness of our Operations function. This role is critical in driving operational excellence through rigorous data analysis, process optimisation, and the strategic use of technology and automation. Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will identify inefficiencies, uncover root causes, and deliver actionable, data-backed solutions that improve productivity, scalability, and business performance.
The role requires a strong ability to source, interpret, and translate complex data into clear insights, with a particular focus on advanced analytical reporting using Metabase (Hex). You will play a hands-on role in day-to-day operational support while also contributing to longer-term process improvements, financial controls, and stakeholder reporting.
This role will be based in our Leamington Spa Hub, with standard working hours of 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday. What you'll be doing:
- Partner with the Operations team to analyse, evaluate and optimise internal processes, using quantitative performance data to identify inefficiencies and design technology-led, automated solutions that improve productivity, throughput, and scalability.
- Provide data-informed, day-to-day operational support, rapidly diagnosing issues as they arise, assessing operational impact, and implementing solutions that minimise disruption and improve service continuity.
- Manage and coordinate meetings through structured scheduling, capacity analysis, and stakeholder availability optimisation, ensuring sessions are efficiently organised, well-communicated, and supported by relevant data, documentation, and insights.
- Prepare, maintain, and audit operational documentation, records, and forms with a strong focus on data accuracy, traceability, and compliance, ensuring all outputs meet internal governance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Source, validate, and analyse data from multiple systems to produce high-quality, insight-driven reporting for management, with a particular emphasis on advanced analytical reporting and dash boards using Metabase (Hex).
- Apply structured root cause analysis techniques to operational data, identifying trends, anomalies, and performance drivers, and translating findings into clear, measurable, data-backed recommendations.
- Liaise with external partners and suppliers to support invoice accuracy, reconciliation, and timely payments, using Sage to track financial data, resolve discrepancies, and improve process efficiency.
- Independently prepare and deliver high-impact analytical presentations to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating complex data, performance insights, and recommendations using tools such as Keynote
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, * Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operations or business operations role within a fast-paced, high-pressure, data- and results-driven environment, with a demonstrated ability to use metrics and performance data to inform decisions and drive outcomes.
- Strong working knowledge of Sage and PMS, with experience using financial and operational data to monitor performance, reconcile discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.
- Highly developed analytical problem-solving capability, able to deconstruct complex operational challenges into data-led hypotheses, actionable workstreams, and measurable solutions, with a strong interest in leveraging new technologies and automation tools.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into clear, compelling narratives for cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to operate at pace, take end-to-end ownership of initiatives, move rapidly from insight to execution, and deliver measurable, quantifiable results within a dynamic, digitally-driven environment.
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation, and time-management skills, with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to managing data, documentation, and competing operational priorities.
- A proactive, self-starting individual with a continuous improvement mindset, comfortable working autonomously, challenging existing processes, and driving data-led optimisation initiatives.
- Strong multi-tasking and workload management capabilities, able to manage multiple analytical and operational priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and focus.
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting, alongside strong capability in Google Workspace (GSuite) tools for collaboration and documentation.
