Senior Data Engineer

• Define system boundaries, interfaces, APIs, and integration patterns across internal and client platforms
• Produce architectural documentation including high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), data flow diagrams, and system specifications
• Analyse client business requirements and translate them into technical system designs, solution architectures, and data models

AI & Data Platform Development

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows using structured and unstructured data
• Architect data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytics using modern cloud-native tooling
• Work with machine learning and LLM-based components to support planning, estimation, and risk analysis
• Ensure explainability, auditability, and governance of AI outputs for enterprise clients

Technical Oversight & Client Advisory

• Provide technical oversight and assurance for client projects, reviewing solution designs, delivery approaches, and implementation plans
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders, helping assess team structures, skills requirements, and delivery readiness, support clients in evaluating tools, and architectures
• Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle

Delivery & Governance

• Define technical standards, best practices, and reference architectures
• Support project governance through design reviews, architecture boards, and delivery checkpoints
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and efficiently
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and compliance requirements

• Experience producing formal technical documentation and architecture artefacts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• Experience in AI-enabled decision support or planning systems
• Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, enterprise SaaS, public sector)
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance considerations
• Experience supporting or overseeing distributed or offshore development teams, * Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Relevant professional certifications in cloud architecture, data engineering, or systems design are desirable
