Job description

Elevation Recruitment's Tech & Transformation team are proud to be working with a growing Sheffield-based technology business looking to add a talented VoIP Support Technician to their team.

You'll be a key part of the technical support function, ensuring customers telecommunications services run smoothly and reliably. From diagnosing VoIP and network issues to proactively improving system performance, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping critical services operational.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing high-quality technical support across telecoms, VoIP and networking environments
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting network and voice platform issues
  • Monitoring customer systems and maintaining performance standards
  • Carrying out system checks, updates and preventative maintenance
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams to resolve recurring issues
  • Keeping accurate case notes and technical documentation
  • Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practice

Requirements

  • Experience supporting VoIP platforms and network infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Confidence using network diagnostics and analytics tools
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and work independently
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
