Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to lead the Compensation Policy Optimization strategy within our Customer Compensations team in our Barcelona HQ. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with Delivery Hero (DH) and Growth teams to maximize customer retention while ensuring high ROI on every compensation investment. You will move beyond reporting to drive the experimental roadmap that defines how we compensate millions of customers globally., * Define and execute a global AB testing roadmap for customer compensation policies to identify the most effective retention levers.

  • Scale and automate AB testing analytics to provide recurrent visibility on policy ROI, guiding critical budget allocation decisions.
  • Optimize customer segmentations in alignment with Growth teams to increase the precision and ROI of compensation investments.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Hero (DH) teams to align on ROI methodologies, testing frameworks, and centralized data logic.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques to predict the impact of policy changes on long-term customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Suggest data-driven actions to senior stakeholders, influencing the global strategy for discretionary spend and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative domain (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, Economics).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a quantitative analysis or data science role, with a heavy focus on experimentation.
  • Mastery in SQL and Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Deep expertise in A/B testing design and execution, including hypothesis testing, power analysis, and understanding statistical significance in a business context.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex ROI metrics into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with modern BI tools (Looker or Tableau) to build automated, scalable ROI dashboards.
  • Experience with version control (GitHub) and collaborative data environments.
  • Professional English proficiency and excellent communication skills to influence senior management.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of pipeline orchestration (Airflow) and Jupyter notebooks.
  • Experience in Growth Analytics or Customer Segmentation models.
  • Experience working in a marketplace or on-demand delivery environment.
