Job description
Reporting to the IT Director, your role will involve the installation and training of IT and Telecoms solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for carrying out the design, installation, support and maintenance of fixed and cloud telephone systems alongside the infrastructure that enables and supports these services such as network cabling, routers and switches. You will provide field-based support to our customers ensuring we meet and where possible exceed our customer's expectations in the deployment of their ICT solutions., * Conduct site surveys and technical assessments at customers premises prior to installation of new systems.
- Install, configure and test ICT systems, networks and infrastructure.
- Ensure systems are configured according to customer's requirements. Where possible there should be knowledge of the requirements from a pre-installation worksheet, although you may also need to discuss the requirements while on-site to ensure customers feel fully supported.
- Completing job sheets on Genesis our CRM after each installation, ensure all paperwork is signed and photos or Videos of site are taken. Ensuring all relevant information is recorded which will enable us to provide on-going support to our customers.
- Work closely with the ICT support team to provide on-going assistance to ensure that any customer issues are resolved timely and efficiently.
- Carry out preventative maintenance visits according to customer's contracts.
- Recommend add on products to enhance a customer's adopted solution.
- Work towards achieving monthly KPI's.
Requirements
- Experience in customer facing ICT engineering role
- Must be methodical and accurate with good attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and work on your own initiative.
- Have a 'can do' attitude and make things happen.

- Able and willing to travel daily to customers sites.
