Job description
Crystal Electronics are seeking an IT Support Technician to report directly to our Technical Director to take ownership of our technology systems. In this hands-on role, you will be the primary point of contact for all IT matters, ensuring the business operates seamlessly. From resolving daily support issues to implementing strategic systems enhancements, you'll play a vital role in driving our tech forward., * Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to over 50 users across the business

Work closely with our MSP to maintain on-premises servers, network infrastructure, and IT security systems

Administer and manage Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Exchange, user accounts, permissions, and security

Administrate our CRM system (BigChange experience highly advantageous), ensuring it meets operational and reporting needs

Support Sage 50 accounting software and provide user assistance

Liaise with third-party suppliers and partners on IT, telecoms, and infrastructure projects

Manage all company mobile contracts, SIM migrations, and telecommunications systems

Maintain and manage networked printers

Conduct IT inductions for all new staff and ensure ongoing training and support

Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity measures are implemented and regularly tested
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven experience in IT administration or systems management

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and network administration

Experience managing on-premises infrastructure and working with MSPs

Proficiency in CRM systems (BigChange preferred) and data reporting tools

Working knowledge of Sage 50 and general business software

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently

Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

Experience with backup/disaster recovery systems

ITIL or Microsoft certifications

Ranges from £28,000 to £32,000 (depending on experience)

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00)
