- Shape the future: Implement DevOps practices for our internal tooling, which collects and manages data from numerous industrial machines
- Take responsibility: Design and implement a release management process for internal libraries using GitLab
- Reliable work: Automate deployment and maintenance tasks through Infrastructure as Code principles
- Teamwork is dreamwork: Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and system-level testing
- Expand your horizons: Contribute to innovation by introducing new deployment and operational strategies, including containerization and data analysis
- Keep the overview: Implement monitoring and logging concepts to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our industrial software infrastructure, * Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Ubuntu?, You are a motivated student passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and software infrastructure, with a desire to turn theory into practice.
- Study Field: Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical program
- Experience: Basic programming or scripting experience in at least one language; knowledge of Linux systems (e.g. RHEL, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu)
- Skills: Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet); understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and interest in distributed systems and data pipelines
- Way of Working: Independent and structured, with strong communication and documentation skills
- Personality: Analytical thinker, eager to learn and explore new technologies
- Language Skills: Fluent English skills (written and spoken) and at least basic German skills
