Active Directory Specialist

• Analyze and prioritize Active Directory security findings
• Implement necessary fixes such as configuration hardening and permission corrections
• Clean up stale, orphaned, or misconfigured AD objects
• Coordinate changes with relevant teams through established change control processes
• Document remediation steps and update tracking logs
• Provide clear status updates to security and project stakeholders
• Recommend process improvements for ongoing monitoring and governance

• IAM, We are looking for an Active Directory SME to join our team in Knutsford, where you will work on-site three days a week with occasional travel to Manchester. This 10-month position offers an engaging opportunity to enhance our AD security. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our Active Directory environment, with a daily focus on implementing remediation measures and improving processes.

• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory security practices
• Experience with configuration hardening and updating Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Proficiency in managing permissions and securing service accounts
• Strong analytical skills to assess AD security findings
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
