Job description

We are looking for a Graduate AI & Business Automation Analyst to help us modernise and automate how our business operates.

This is a hands-on, practical role focused on real business processes, not theoretical AI research. You will work across operations, service delivery, finance and sales to help automate workflows, integrate systems and apply AI tools where they genuinely add value.

You'll be supported with structured training, real responsibility and exposure to live systems from day one.

What you'll be doing

You will work on projects such as:

  • Automating business workflows using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
  • Connecting systems such as CRM, finance and service platforms using APIs
  • Supporting AI-enabled tools for:
  • Reporting and insights
  • Document and job-note summarisation
  • Administrative automation
  • Analysing operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Working with non-technical teams to understand processes and translate them into automated solutions
  • Maintaining documentation, testing automations and supporting continuous improvement

Requirements

Do you have experience in Xero?, * Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)

  • Power Automate and Power Apps
  • CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Finance systems (e.g. Xero)
  • Service management platforms (e.g. Uptick)
  • AI tools via Microsoft Azure / OpenAI

Prior experience with all of these is not required - curiosity and learning ability matter more.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • A degree (or expected degree) in:
  • Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Data Science
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Information Systems
  • Applied Mathematics or similar
  • Basic programming ability, ideally including:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Understanding of how APIs and systems integration work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical ideas in plain English
  • A practical, improvement-focused mindset

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform
  • Final-year project involving automation, AI or data
  • Internship, placement year or real-world project experience
  • Familiarity with:
  • Power BI
  • Azure fundamentals
  • CRM or ERP systems
  • Interest in how businesses operate, not just how code works
