Product Manager, Solution 7

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Solution 7, our award-winning financial reporting and planning product. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for co-defining the future of how Zone&Co enables businesses to leverage their live NetSuite data directly within the environment finance teams know best-Microsoft Excel. You will drive initiatives that streamline financial reporting, automate budgeting workflows, and empower CFOs to move from manual data entry to strategic analysis.

This role requires a deep understanding of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the "Excel-first" mindset of finance professionals, and the technical nuances of ERP data structures to translate complex reporting needs into intuitive, scalable software solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Define Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for Zone&Co's Solution 7 (Excel Reporting & Planning) offerings, aligning it with Zone&Co's overall product vision and market opportunities.
• Market & Customer Insight: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for NetSuite users.
• Roadmap & Prioritization: Own the product roadmap for your domain, defining clear objectives, key results, and prioritized initiatives. Translate strategic themes into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Product Development Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and QA teams throughout the agile development lifecycle. Provide clear guidance, make informed trade-offs, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with sales, marketing, solutions consulting, and customer success teams to develop compelling product messaging, sales enablement materials, and launch strategies that drive adoption and customer value.
• Financial Reporting & FP&A Expertise: Drive innovation in areas such as real-time Excel integration, automated budget write-backs, multi-subsidiary cash flow analysis, drill-down transaction analysis, and consolidated reporting.
• Reporting Usability Focus: Explore and develop capabilities around intuitive report building, pre-built templates, dynamic formatting, and improved visibility across the entire financial planning lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the subject matter expert for Solution 7, communicating product plans, progress, and performance to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.

Do you have experience in SaaS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 6+ years (for PM) of progressive experience in Product Management within FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, or Financial Services, with a direct focus on Financial Reporting, EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), or FP&A solutions.

• Deep Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) cycles, Excel-based modeling, budgeting workflows, and financial reporting best practices.
• ERP Acumen: Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial processes. Direct experience with NetSuite (either as a user, consultant, or product manager for a NetSuite-integrated solution) is a significant advantage.
• Technical Fluency: Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers, understand API capabilities, and grasp the nuances of building scalable, secure financial software.
• Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex market data, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to define winning product strategies and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences (technical, business, executive).
• Execution Focus: A strong track record of successfully bringing complex software products from conception to launch and driving adoption.
• Agile Proficiency: Experience working in agile development environments.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications a plus
