We are recruiting an ERP Business Systems Manager for an enterprise organisation in the manufacturing sector. What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of business applications performance and change delivery, partnering with stakeholders across operations and finance., * Own day-to-day performance of the ERP and connected applications: availability, usability, incident trends, and user experience improvements.

  • Lead requirements gathering and process discovery: workshops, mapping, gap analysis, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into functional solutions: configuration, workflow changes, data and reporting improvements, and controlled process redesign.
  • Manage the change pipeline: prioritisation, roadmap planning, sprint/release scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate vendors and delivery partners: scopes of work, estimates, quality checks, and SLA performance.
  • Own integrations and data flows at the functional level: EDI, APIs, file exchanges, downstream reporting feeds-ensuring reconciliation and auditability.
  • Drive testing discipline: SIT, UAT, regression approach, defect triage, and release readiness.
  • Support data governance: master data quality, controls, access roles, and process integrity across finance and supply chain.
  • Maintain documentation: process maps, training materials, system run books, and change records., * WMS / warehouse execution tools
  • TMS / transport and logistics platforms
  • Field service scheduling / mobile apps
  • E-commerce or customer portals
  • Reporting and analytics tools (BI extracts, operational dashboards), * You'll build credibility with stakeholders by stabilising pain points and improving support responsiveness.
  • You'll establish a clear and prioritised change backlog tied to measurable operational outcomes.
  • You'll improve release confidence through stronger UAT, clearer acceptance criteria, and better documentation.
  • You'll identify integration/data risks and implement practical controls (reconciliation, monitoring, ownership clarity).
  • You'll create a roadmap that balances quick wins with longer-term process and system improvements.

Requirements

Any vendor specific would be welcomed Skills ERP Management ideally at the EOL, * Strong ERP functional experience across at least two major areas (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Order Management, Inventory/Warehouse)

  • Proven background in business systems management: requirements, prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, delivery governance
  • Hands-on experience running UAT, defect triage, and release readiness for business-critical changes
  • Strong understanding of integrations and data movement (functional ownership of EDI, APIs, file-based feeds, reconciliation)
  • Confident working with vendors/partners and holding them to quality, timelines, and SLAs
  • Strong documentation mindset: process maps, functional specs, training and support artefacts, * Experience with JD Edwards, Infor, QAD, Sage X3, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar ERP environments
  • ERP reporting exposure (operational reporting, BI extracts, data dictionaries, KPI definitions)
