A bit about the job: You'll join the Single View of Customer (SVOC) platform team, part of Aviva's Customer Data Platforms (CDP). We build and manage unified customer data products that power analytics, marketing, servicing, and operations. As a Snowflake Analyst/Engineer, you'll help deliver engineering changes that improve customer experience and engagement. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, product owners and stakeholders to turn business needs into high-quality data solutions. Skills and experience we're looking for Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data analysis, low-level design, fact-finding, and root-cause investigation. Proven ability to translate business needs, mappings, and transformation rules into scalable engineering solutions and DBT models on Snowflake. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, SQL, ETL pipelines, and AWS services including S3, Redshift, and Postgres. Proficient in Python or PySpark with experience using orchestration tools like Airflow for data engineering workflows. Skilled in data modelling techniques, performance optimisation in Snowflake, and building scalable data models and transformation pipelines in cloud environments.
