Job description
The HR Systems & Data Analyst is a hybrid HRIS administrator and analytics specialist who owns day to day HR systems application and database administration, configuration, and reporting while delivering actionable insights. The role handles system security and user access, configures workflows and processes, monitor and validate releases, and troubleshoots issues in partnership with IT and vendors.
This role also builds and maintains standard/ad hoc reports, integrations, and dashboards to ensure accurate, timely workforce insights. Leveraging advanced data analysis, the role identifies trends, improves HR processes, and supports data driven decisions aligned with the company goals., HR Systems Administration & Application Ownership

Implement, support, update, and maintain all HR applications and tools across environments (prod/test/sandbox).

Manage configuration of modules, workflows, business processes, validation rules, security roles, and notifications.

Oversee releases for in-house HR tools and, for external HR systems/tools, coordinate vendor releases and conduct pre-update impact assessments and UAT/regression testing in non-production environments, with full documentation.

Own incident log and resolution; coordinate with IT and vendors for escalations and root cause fixes. Database & Data Platform Administration

Administer the HRIS database.

Write and optimize advanced queries; develop views, update data, retrieve data, and store procedures.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights

Collect, analyze, consolidate, and interpret HR data from HRIS and other HR sources (e.g., personal, financial, attendance, etc.).

Build and maintain standard/ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for your direct manager and stakeholders.

Define and track key HR metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover and retention rates, performance, succession, upskilling programs, and financials).

Leverage AI/ML (where applicable) for forecasting, trend detection, anomaly/outlier identification, and process automation. Process Improvement & Performance Management Cycles

Analyze and continuously improve HR processes, workflows, and system capabilities to support company initiatives.

Configure and run performance appraisal cycles ended (eligibility rules, forms, rating scales, timelines, rules, notifications).

Prepare cycle manuals, ensure environment readiness/redundancy, support users, and analyze results with recommendations.

Ensure exercise on time completion by following up and supporting all stakeholders.
Data Quality, Privacy & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and integrity through regular reconciliations, audits, troubleshooting, and test cycles.
- Maintain data privacy and security policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare precise, timely data for audits, due diligence, and RFPs.
Integration & Automation
- Collaborate with IT, AI team, and other stakeholders to integrate HR systems with adjacent platforms
- Operate and monitor integrations (API/SFTP/ETL), manage schedules, handle errors, and maintain run books/SOPs.
- Develop and use automation tools appropriate to streamline repetitive tasks and improve SLAs.
Stakeholder Enablement, Documentation & Training
- Prepare clear documentation (policies, user guides, technical guides) and maintain a living knowledge base.
- Provide training and day-to-day support to HR and end users on system features, reports, and self-service.
- Classifying and resolving technical issues, maintaining SLAs, documenting fixes, and escalating to IT/vendors as needed.
- Develop and maintain an automated training and tutorials library for HR systems and tools.
- Communicate changes, release notes, and timelines; manage intake and prioritize requests.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Administrate vendor relationships: selection/evaluation, onboarding, contract and SLA management, renewals.
- Coordinate issue escalations, monitor service delivery, and ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance terms.
- Track product roadmaps and check for enhancements aligned with business needs.
Audit, Finance & Executive Reporting
- Deliver accurate, validated datasets and consolidated reports within agreed timeframes.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting and reporting (e.g., Budgeting, Rewards, Employee Cost reports).
- Provide executive-ready dashboards and presentations with clear narratives and actionable insights.
General Duties
- Maintain the security of the information, devices, and systems that Eastnets, its personnel, customers and partners use.
- Protect Eastnets business information and any customer, supplier, or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Adhere to and complies with Eastnets internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Non-Disclosure Policy, Non-Compete Policy, Email Policy, Proprietary Rights Acknowledgement, Background Check Policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.
- Participate in the company's wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or any IT-related field,
- 3 to 4 years hands on experience in the administration and troubleshooting of HRIS (MenaITech, Workday/SAP SuccessFactors/Oracle HCM).
- Proficiency in SQL administration and DB queries development.
- Proficiency in organization charts and diagramming tools (such as Visio, AI-based tools).
- Proficiency in HR reporting, data analysis and BI, and comfort with data models.
- Skills in analysis tools, such as MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and Python.
- Knowledge in MS Power Apps, Power BI,
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of HR principles, processes, and practices.
- Ability to work with AI tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English communication skills (writing and speaking).

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
- Knowledge in coding languages such as Java or .NET is a plus.
- Familiarity with GDPR compliance, cloud security, and incident response is a plus
