Tasks

• Manage and maintain complex IT systems and SAP infrastructure.

• Provide professional 2nd-level support and troubleshoot issues.

• Collaborate with teams to enhance SAP processes and ensure security., To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a committed personality as a System Engineer with SAP knowledge who will co-responsibly ensure the smooth operation of our client/server and SAP systems. You will participate in on-premise and cloud projects, drive the automation of IT processes, and take on deputy roles within the team. What you will do with us

• Planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT system landscapes

• Independent maintenance and support of the IT infrastructure (client, server, network), including daily system monitoring

• Central contact point in 2nd-level support: professional assistance with problems and disruptions

• Analysis of disruptions and error conditions as well as initiation and execution of measures to resolve errors

• Ensuring system updates (patches, releases) in cooperation with external partners

• Close collaboration with specialist departments and project teams to continuously improve SAP processes

• Implementation of security and compliance requirements in SAP operations

• Maintenance of documentation and creation of configuration instructions

• IT education with several years of relevant experience required.
• Strong knowledge of MS products, Citrix, VMware, and Linux.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills essential., * Several years of experience in a comparable position
• Solid knowledge of MS products, Citrix, VMware as well as Linux (Suse/RedHat), certifications are a plus
• Experience in operating SAP systems on Linux
• High quality standards, analytical skills, and problem-solving competence
• Customer orientation, communication, and coordination skills
• Team player with a structured and independent working style
• Confident German in spoken and written form as well as technical English
